Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Video Downloader for Android (the "App"), provided by Mushroom Studio. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Permitted use

You may use the App only for lawful purposes and only to access or download content that you own, that is in the public domain, or for which you have permission or another legal right to download.

2. Your responsibility for content

You are solely responsible for the URLs, websites, cookies, and content you access through the App. You must comply with applicable copyright laws, privacy laws, website terms, access restrictions, and contractual obligations.

You may not use the App to infringe intellectual property rights, distribute unlawful content, bypass access controls, gain unauthorized access, or facilitate abuse. The App does not grant rights to third-party content.

3. Third-party services

The App can interact with third-party websites and services. Mushroom Studio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for those services unless expressly stated. Website availability, supported formats, authentication requirements, and download functionality can change without notice.

4. Free and Pro features

The free version may include limits such as three downloads per day, maximum selectable quality, sequential downloads, or other reasonable restrictions shown in the App. Pro may provide recurring benefits such as unlimited downloads, higher quality options, batch or concurrent downloads, and other features described on the purchase screen.

Feature availability can depend on the source website and media formats. Purchasing Pro does not guarantee that every website or quality will be available.

5. Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

Pro subscriptions purchased through Google Play are billed to your Google Play account at the price and billing period displayed before confirmation. Prices may vary by country, currency, tax, and offer.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play's subscription settings. Cancellation normally takes effect after the current paid period, subject to Google Play's terms and applicable law. Refunds are handled under Google Play's policies and applicable law.

6. Updates and changes

We may update the App to add, change, or remove functionality, address security issues, or maintain compatibility with Android and third-party websites. We may also update free limits or Pro features, but we will not misrepresent an active subscription offer.

7. Availability and disclaimer

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent support for a website, a particular format or quality, or error-free downloads. Third-party websites may block or change access at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mushroom Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, third-party claims, or misuse of downloaded content arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Suspension or termination

We may restrict access to the App or its services when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, comply with law, protect users or third parties, or maintain security. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, providing notice in the App. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
